So stoked. Got the tailgate on.
I have a weak place where the torsion bar hinge (passenger side) bolts so I deleted the torsion bar. I have a spare if I ever restore the tailgate window to work. Right now all I need is a handle. The PO may have in a box of random parts so I'll hold off looking for one.
In the mean time all the lights from the 73 bolted right up. I have the tailgate inner cover but I'll bolt it in after I get the handle.

This thing was running good on a clean fuel tank I was using (2 gallon can)
I put fuel in the old tank and was dealing with filters clogging when I saw the oil gallery leak.
It's taken me a week to get back to the motor.
I put the clean fuel source back to it with a new filter.
Also over the last week I have sprayed Sea Foam in the carb a few times to wash away any residual crap from rusty tank.
This am InButtoned it up, hit it with starting fluid and good gas and this is all I can get.

Got it going. Fouled the plugs with the crap I sprayed in the carb.
Good thing is I found a whole kernel of corn in the secondary. That was fun to get out.
I straightened a brake line and dabbed some grease on the tip and worked it out. Operation style.
Pulled plugs. Cleaned. Re gapped and it fired up.
It's leaking somewhere on the drivers firewalll above the manifold. Whatever it is is cooking off and it does not drip when parked. Maybe it's the carb gasket.
Found some old cast Land Cruiser emblems and bolted them on

My pig was a project that went bad in 2007 when a body shop took it apart for a client and got way underwater when he found a ton of rust.
They had taken it apart and bought tons of replacement parts.
I got the Pig as you know a couple weeks ago and have been combining it with the parts Pig
