Beno mailed out the fuel tank parts to reinstall the main tank so I’ve pulled the Oddball back into the lift shop. Not sure what all this stuff is but he said I needed it

I also got this cool 3D printed 3FE cover from Proffett since I thought mine was lost.

I also got some FrontRunner load bars to haul stuff around. I did not want a full rack on it

I found this brand new grill on Marketplace last week. Man. It really looks good up there.

In TN and a few other states we can register a same year as the vehicle, Vintage license plate to an antique vehicle in place of the state issued antique plate. I typically use them on my vintage bikes.

Can you do the same there?

Wiper arm fixed :D

3rd installed with driveshaft and axles. Used Red FIGP. Never used it before. Hope it works as good as the black stuff.

The answer to my own question is that this Petrol 80 Aux tank is setup just like a diesel. Instead of transferring fuel to the main tank, it simply switches suction to the aux tank.
Any chance this thing had the spare tire rattle bar that is mounted to the cross member just forward of the spare?

No rattle Bar. Im assuming mine never came with one as the factory spare is still there

No leaks this morning. That’s a win for red Aisin FIGP.

While I have the room to maneuver without the fuel tank in place I installed the Harrop wires and the ARB remote diff breather kit.

I’m going to give a thumbs up to this Harrop kit. Very nice and easy install. Hope to get to use it one day.

The wires fit in the bottom of the rear brake line bracket so they won’t get snagged.

Plenty of places to mount this but I made a little bracket to move it off the fender to make hose routing easier.

I always used the red as I thought it was better than the black.........but what do I know.

Applications are different.

00295-00103: Black: Oil pans, timing covers, water pumps/cooling system (though not necessarily called out in the specifications)-- engine-specific applications.

00295-01281: Red: Transaxles, differentials, transmission pans, transfer cases, etc.

Thanks. I think I actually knew that at one time. I know I've used the red on oil pans at least once without issue but understand that's a low stress application. Most of my use has been diffs.

I like that the switches were likely designed around these stock Toyota rectangle plugs.

Front breather on. Tube diameter is a perfect push on for Toyota breathers too

Got all the wires loomed up and fed the wires into the firewall through the old choke cable grommet. I bought a super expensive Oddysey with side posts so I could run all the random 12v stuff to the side post but the plastic 80 battery tray won’t let me get to the side post without a big ass hole being cut out. Instead I added this remote 12v post to run stuff too to keep my battery post clean.

What did you use to space the switch out beyond the recess? I needed to trim the ends of the switch handles so they would clear the recess on mine. It works, but I wasn't impressed with the appearance. Pic of mine:

Man. Not sure what is different but this is the way mine went in. No trimming or anything. It was a tight fit.

OK, gotcha.....I trimmed the holes for the switch housing to fit down in, so they would look recessed.....than found out the switches wouldn't click until I trimmed them. :bang:
