You guys are as bad a Jeep and Apple fanboys with your Glocks ;)

I resemble that remark. I buy things that work all the time, every time. An I like to buy things that last for years. Never lost money on a Glock. Never had a problem with a Glock. Ever. After thousands of rounds. No failures. I have over 4500 rounds through my G26. It isn't even broke in yet.

And yes I have had two Jeeps (Both Rubicons. They worked well and never had issues, now a 62) and I'm typing this on my six year old Apple Macbook pro computer (the battery is losing steam after six years but otherwise never a problem)...coincidence? No, just know where and what to spend my money on for long term value. YMMV.

If there is one time it's important to pick what fits, its with a handgun. I've been shopping with Mikaela and I only want her to have what fits and is reliable. Problem now is she says my new Kimber is what fits best...
Agreed completely. Fit and 100% reliability rule the day in personal defensive firearms. Kimber is hard to beat on the reliability front if they fit ....

Glock in my hand = BRICK. My Springfield XDm = PERFECT. I've tried so hard to cozy up to the Glocks but they have no love for me. Maybe this single stack will change my mind. I doubt it.

First 50 rounds outta my new 4" bbl 1911. Two 25 shot strings fired in 30 seconds each at 10 yards. Kinda makes me wish I had shot for accuracy rather than function testing ....

I was just looking at the G43 today on their site. Looks like it would be a great back up piece, Heather might even get along with it.

I don't get the hype. The gun masturbation forums are likening this thing to the next coming of Jebus.

Like I said, other manufacturers have been doing single stack, subcompact carry pieces in 9mm for years:meh:

Give it a year and the pawn shops will be full of the G43s. It seems to happen every time a compact pistol is hyped to death prior to release. The loyal brand types will buy them up and keep them while a great many others will try them and then after they sit in a drawer for 8 months they will sell them to fund the next best carry pistol.

It may help Heather's issues with semi autos, we will go to a range and see how she likes it. We'll wait till fall or winter though, after the hype has died down.

Built me a couple longer range shooters...hope to get out to the range soon and see what type of accuracy I can get.

Both of these are for sale. Less than 50 rounds for the gas guns and less than 30 for the bolt gun.

Bolt gun - $4,000
Gas gun - $3,000

An air soft pistol came home from Academy Sports with me today. $10 on sale - I couldn't not buy it. Got 2000 bb's for for $3.99.

Having a blast shooting cans at 20 feet. I don't like having to rack the slide for every shot, but it's cheap entertainment until it breaks.

Wow. So they took a toy gun and blazed the side of it with a company name that was run by a child rapist.

That looks awesome :D

How is it charged? Is it a gas blowback model?

Spring, not air. Rack the slide for each shot. 325fps. Again, we're talking about a $10 gun. I can routinely hit a can at 20'. Haven't tried any further out.

I like that, less stuff to worry about (charging, batteries, etc.).

I found a shell with 31 89 stamped on it, shell and slug are copper colored

Any ideas?
