Went shooting today with my BIL and another close friend. Glock.45, Walther p22, a 1938 mosin, a Winchester 1400 and my 870. Went through a couple hundred rounds and had a blast! Time to get a mosen.

I'm selling my latest AR build. I want to fund the next build. I have it listed on Armslist for $2500 but will sell it to ONSC for $2250. This is a highly modified build intended for 600-800 yards. I have a 5.56 load that will theoretically shoot 1000 yards but I don't know. I won't bore everyone with the details but if you are interested I would be happy to give you everything. I kept details during the build. Call it carryover from the 40 builds :-) There are approx. 75 rounds through it. That was for op testing, barrel brake in and scope zero. I know that sounds like a lot but at 2250$ I would be breaking even. The only thing not absolutely top of the line on the rifle is the trigger. That is a standard RRAs trigger. A gisele or two stage trigger would have this thing singing the opera.

Range in URE is opening back up May 13 2014 at 1000 hrs. Looks great up there. Was on it today. Great set up now.

Club wheeling/camping/shooting trip? I'm itching to burn through some more 7.62.

Now that the rifle range at Drake Landing is closed, I'll need to find someplace new to use up my .223/5.56, so I'm in!!

Yes, Yes. I've got some .22 I've got to send off as well. :D

The range at Drake Landing closed? How come?

How about late May / early June for an overnight trip?

The pistol pit and sporting clays are still open, but they closed the rifle range in an attempt to appease local landowners who are trying to shut the place down. I guess the neighbors don't like the noise and have alleged that their houses have even been hit by strays. DL operates under an agri-tourism license and the neighbors are trying to get the license pulled.

The Hurricane Creek trip is June 7-9, which I'd love to make. July brings CMCC, which is my summer goal.

June 21 would work for me.

Hope it's still open in October.

Built me a couple longer range shooters...hope to get out to the range soon and see what type of accuracy I can get.

My pleasure! For about 5 minutes, I didn't own a Glock. Now we've just gotta hit the range and run through some 9mm!!

I had a Remington 870 and just upgraded to a Benelli Supernova. The fit and finish on the Supernova is very nice and I can't wait to shoot it. My pistol purchase is on hold until I have some more funds available.
