Hmmm.... Hematoma occurred at 6:20 PM, sir.

Got the hump and the heater in tonight as well as the windshield washer bottle which is the first thing electric that has not work.

I had some pics but the app keep crashing on my phone. :hhmm:

Ahh, there we go...

It required some modification due to the H55. The boots are out of a 60.

boots look good - I'll have to keep that in mind [out of a 60, eh :bang:]

on the windshield washer bottle: no motor sound or no squirting ?

The motor isn't running. It is likely in the switch. I checked the motor before I installed it and it was good. It is an old on Yooper gave me.

Finally got to this. Took about 5 hours. I will never use -AN lines on a 40 again. What a pita that was.

Still need to anchor all the lines to the frame but if I can get out of bed early enough tomorrow, I might be able to.....start it??
Wishful thinking

So the wife and I just put the hood in place. The alignment on the front is close on the passenger side but off about half an inch off on the driver's side. :bang:
I can see the problem but the fender will not go farther back, the apron lines up with the front of the fender but not the body.
Frustrating. I wonder if I need to force the body forward a 1/4 inch on the driver side.
No that won't work, the steering would prevent it and the rear sill is aligned with the rear frame rail....
:hhmm:
Elongate the fender mounting holes won't work, the fender is bolted to the body....
Just spit balling now...

Can u post a few pics of the problem??? Or the wife working?

FYI it took me and mill house 4 hours to get my body close enough.. This was not including drinking time. Make every bolt loose..

Is your frame bent?

Shouldn't be. It was and it went to an old school frame shop early on in the build and they put it to spec....supposedly. That would be a s***ter this late in a build huh?

No way it can't be... Loosen all bolts on body and move stuff around.. Remember its an fj40 and lots of different parts.. It won't be perfect..

I hear ya. The passenger side is perfect. The alignment along the sides is good but the bib, fender and apron stick out on the drivers side.

The Mule lines up perfect. But then, all its parts came out of the factory the same day

We would loosen son bolts and tighten others... Bent to fit.. Kind of.. Might have to use a little force

Maybe you shold come back. The girls at the Clermont were asking about you.
