Dropped off the rig @ ACC for open heart transplant?
Yep, and got the T-shirt to prove it! ;)

I think my rig smiled when I pulled into the lot.......Oh, that was me grinning like a Cheshire Cat!

Nice please post the after effects sir!:steer:

My springs are junk - it's an 08 w/32k on it . Yours being newer probably have the 3+1 packs and mine are 2+1 . Toyota has issued a safety recall on those springs as of last fall - no solution for new ones yet . I may add air bags since it gets trailer duty fairly often , but the springs are just a joke and rides horrible with LT 6-ply tires on it .

If I put the Cruiser's six in the back of mine , bumper would be on the ground - it bottoms out at less than 300lbs as it sits now .

From what I hear , the recall is due to springs breaking and possibly contacting the fuel cell , puncturing it . Nice .

I want a 75 series pickup so bad...

Sarge

Since GAA is taking a break...

@Weber Sarge Air Bags are exactly with you need - I've been very happy with the Firestone RideRite's, I put on my Tundra several years ago - makes it easy to balance a load or a trailer or both. The BOSS I just put on 44 are much better quality and I think I paid $349 (free shipping) for the FJ40 version. John Russo (fj55parts@charter.net) at slocruisers.com is the US rep I ordered from... @bikersmurf recommeded Reece in Canada, but Reece sent me back to John, saying it would be cheaper for John to provide them in the US. There are a couple of other US dealers, but I don't recall where they are.

Back to work now, GAA!!:deadhorse:

How do you like the bags on your 44?
Pics?

I seriously considered the Boss Bags, but didn't think they'd clear the disc brake mounts which are welded to my rear axle.

GAA, make sure the firewall is cleaned off prior to re-assembly.

I trust it is in good hands and it will be cared for accordingly. These guys know their Cruisers.

Note: The last time a mechanic had my hood up like that, they didn't have a cushion of some sort between it and the roof. I think they slung the hood open back to the roof, and put a cygnus white mark across the bridge of my beige hood!...what a PI$$ER!

Rick, I think you don't sleep at night, having your beauty in the OR........

When I saw the pic, I said, "OH MY!"...I think ACC's reputation precedes them, that is comforting.

Funny, you mentioned an OR. Healthcare Projects and Surgery Centers are what I design for a living.

You can't put it back in just yet.... need a little staring time, let that shine wash over you awhile...

:) Progress, Progress, Progress. Keep up the good work, it looks great!......Nice to see it put together with all the new Toyota OEM and updated parts I received. One of the biggest smiles, comes from the new Vintage Air 15465-VTB bracket that is installed. Looks like those long single M10 bolts worked like a charm on it, and should help keep the AC compressor & alternator in alignment. Also, me likes the shinny 2F embossed valve cover and new OEM hose clamps, DING-DING WINNER-WINNER!!!! :)

Note; I see what you did there, ACC....clean rag on the lift chain....and that my friends, is attention to detail! ACC, nothing but accolades to you guys and gals.
