When my name finally came up for an 80 lid, Kevin emailed me right before Christmas and asked if I was still interested and what options I wanted. I replied back, and he said he'd get to it shortly. Well, shortly happened to be Christmas weekend!

I got my 80 lid the week after. As I told Kevin, it truly is a beautiful work, aesthetically and functionally. His overkill packaging ensured the UPS man couldn't scratch or destroy it.

The installation is dead simple and quick, it's a 1/2:banana: job. With the template he provides, there is no way you can screw it up. The template and lid aligned and fit perfectly.

I have a bunch of junk I've been trying to store sensibly - rain gear, recovery stuff, small parts, odds and ends - and now I have a great place for them.

I'll post pics a bit later, I just wanted to thank Kevin here and let you all know if you're on the fence w/ the lid, get it.

Couple of photos, nothing earth shattering.

After cutting out the tailgate, I used Rust Bullett all around the cut, and put some sound dampening on the tailgate:

The fit is perfect:

Stuffed full of junk, so nice to have this stuff stored like this:

Closes up nicely, quite stealth!
