Butch,

What all did you do? We bought a new battery for Kade's as Jax would like to drive it, but it still is dead.

Where did you dig into it and what did you find to be the problem?

Thanks!

Garth

Foot pedal supplies 12v to the floor shifter/switch, which provides 12v to the motors, one on each rear wheel
They are really simple, the lever in the floor is a reversing current switch, take the cover off, blow it out real good with canned or compressed air, the spray liberally with electrical contact cleaner, move the shifter back and forth rapidly while doing so.
This is where the problem was in this one.......I held the foot switch down while doing this and found the rear wheels would spin, off and on.....
The long pin underneath, has a sheet metal cap, remove one with pliers, then grab the other side and slide it out, you can then access both motors, the terminals on this one were loose and corroded, they take a simple terminal that is common, while there replace all 4 being careful not to mix them up or you could have one motor going forward and one in reverse.
You can test the motors by supplying 12v to one terminal and ground to the other while here.....

10-4, Thanks! I'll give her a try after the 4th...
