The National Park Service (NPS) has announces the availability of a Draft General Management Plan/Environmental Impact Statement (GMP/EIS) for Lake Meredith National Recreation Area and Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument, Texas. The plan defines how the parks' resources, visitors, and facilities will be managed for the next 15 to 20 years. A limited number of hard copies or compact discs of the plan are also available from the park upon request.
