Any you folks ever been in this race, downright sick race with two full mountain range climbs.

Did it once, I had severe leg cramping, it was not a pretty sight. Took me some time to figure out after years of riding that I was constantly dehidrating my muscles..

Its held in Pemberton BC.

Second to Death Race in Alberta I have heard, that race they usually heli out a couple riders.

Hey Radd

I have done it 6 times. It is a blast....have done alot of races and no other community supports a race like this one.

btw...it is in Squamish BC and not Pemberton

Thanks for correcting that, your downright hardcore racing it 6 times.

Great show they put on in that small town, I recommend it to everyone who likes to race.

I used to ride with Ryan Leach when he was 14 years old until he started riding for Norco, one of the most stand up guys you will ever want to meet.

DOH!!!

:flipoff2: Oh, you tease! I had to check it out once google maps told me it was only a 6.5 hour drive away. ...but, it's SOLD OUT!

...maybe next year!

hey radd,
do you know if the single speed nationals still happens in cumberland? i did that one. 30km. cross counrty on a single speed...
would have done better without the beer on the starting line.

Not sure, but I do know that area is very steep and unforgiving for climbs.

I like Dodge City, cool little bike shop.

Some of my fav riding is in Duncan, Mt Sicker I believe, next would be Forbidden Plateu then Mt Bentsen trails and lastly Dumont which is minutes from my front door.

yeah, cool race Rob! I used to ride that one every year when i lived in North Van working at Cove bike shop-mid 90's. Another gooder was "Hell of the North" on Mt.Seymour.
Miss those days...
Cheers!

Never heard of Hell of the North, I was around the cove bike shop in the 90s, you could always walk in the front door and smell that BC Weed.......
