Tennessee, North GA, and SC trip (1 Viewer)

My wife and I are taking a week to get from Fort Worth, TX to Charleston, SC, where my son is stationed. We plan on hitting the trails and camping the whole way. Can anyone recommend great places to see and trails to explore along the way? I'm not looking for "tourist traps." We want to see the great nature spaces of America. The only thing I really lack on my rig is a winch, so being solo we'll need to avoid too much mud. We are leaving next Friday.

Yeah, I’ve pretty much planned it around state parks and onXroad at this point.

I know OP's time window has already passed, but I recommend the Georgia Traverse for anyone that stumbles across this thread. Be sure to include a detour to Earls Ford Rd to cross Warwoman creek. Stop at the banks of the Chattooga river though.

If only I had that 10 days ago...I did most of the Georgia Traverse, although some roads were closed, and I had to cut a bit for time.
