Thought it would be a good idea to start a sub-forum for those TN cruiser enthusiasts. As far as cruiser mechanics in the area, I only have experience with Steve's Offroad in Soddy-Daisy, TN. They have treated me & my 60 well and been fair on pricing. Welcome!

We have a chapter of TLCA in TN., Southeast Toyota land Cruiser Assoc, our Website is stlca.org. Currently we meet in Nashville where several of our members live but I live in Manchester and we have Tennessee members in Chattanooga,Maryville and Tellico Plains. We have considered having meetings in the Chattanooga area if we get enough members in that area. Check ouit our website for trail rides and other activies.

Well Since Roger's already posted, I won't bore you with the benefits of being an STLCA member...But, since I'm in Chattanooga thought I'd post up and see if we could put something together for next week to get the Cruiser owners in here together for dinner/drinks, etc. There are a few locals that I know some on MUD, some not. Let me know if you'd be interested in coming out if we can get something together.

Also check out the GSMTR link at the STLCA page or here and come join us, you'll have a blast, even if you can't make the whole week, just register and come up for thurs, fri and sat.

Feel free to email me: todd_shirley at yahoo dot com

Hey yawl.....as Chat/Roger know we just transfered to Chapel Hill, TN.

What ever happens be glad to be involved.

Weekends better for my schedule but keep us in mind.

Thanks for the info. I'll check it out. I don't do much wheelin' w/my 60. I have an 80's POS bronco that I use for banging into trees-n-such. Are non-LC's allowed? I'll even let you pull me out...

The rules for sanctioned events and STLCA membership is you must be a member of TLCA. To join TLCA you must own a Toyota 4WD Vehicle, but there are no rules on what you bring to events and trail rides. We have one guy that has an FJ-80 he uses for a daily driver but wheels a Samurai. The only clause is you need to come prepared to take some verbal abuse, though a Bronco will get you much less than a J**P.

Hello all. Lets not move the meetings . . . I live 5 minutes away :D

I will start a meeting thread, but what I and ptoposing is alternating where we hold them so the people that live 2.5 hours away can attend .
