A few of us want to make a run up to Tellico for Thanksgiving but none of us even know if it will be open. I have some numbers wrote down to call tomorrow to see if they are, I should prob call before posting this but what the hell.

Anywho... Plan on making the quick 10 hour drive up on Wednesday and staying through Sunday. Would be glad to wheel with any of you nuts...

Hopefully a few of us NFC'ers will be north bound soon...

Sounds good. I was planning on going up thur. night until sun. already. My brother was going up with his family on wed. and I was going to go up after I ate dinner with mine. Didn't want to be in the doghouse. I should be taking my wife and son up and staying in one of the cabins. Let me know about the details.

We are leaving tomorrow night for Tellico. We will be camping a ways down from 5 near the water if its open, if not check elsewhere around camp for a bunch of Florida people huddled around the fire.

Hope some of you guys get a chance to make it...

I was planning on going up with the fam for this as my brother is already there. However when the cold started coming in a couple of weeks ago I decided not to go. He even decided to go without his 6 year old girl. Hope you guys have a lot of fun.

I do believe that all trailside camping is closed.
You can check out Crawford's or McNabb campground.
I have stayed in a nice cabin just off of Hanging Dog for $70 a night. 2 b/r, 2 ba, nice neighbors.
If you're interested, PM me, I;ll get you the info.

Really???!!!???

Oh hell no I am not staying at crawlfords with 1.5hrs just spent on trail 1 each day.

Is there anywhere to find out for sure?

Ask on the upstate forum, or go to the nat'l park service

How much body damage did the 2 blue rigs encounter?

Jeremy

My rig was the 83 blue Hilux, it was the first time I have been to Tellico with out breaking or denting anything. The blue 60 took out a door on top of Guard Rail.

It was a fun trip for sure and looking forward to GSMTR.
