Members,
Tech day is fast approaching. 01/13/07 is just around the corner and I hope everyone can make the event.

The usual agenda for tech day goes something like this: wrench on some TLC's, elect officers, set the calendar of event for 2007, toss out some money making ideas for the club.

This years tech session is localed at Carl StClair's (Outback Offroad Gear) shop in Greenwood, IN. Carl has got all the goodies for fabrication like a plasmcutter, mig-tig-arc welding equipment, pipe bender, engine hoist, vehicle lift, etc.

Outback Offroad is located:
From I-65 head east off of exit 99. (If you see a McDee's you're going the wrong direction) Drive past the first traffic light. Drive until you see the third stop sign. (about 2.75 miles) At the third stop sign you'll see a sign for 'Red's Corner'.
Turn left onto 700 Road East. Go up about a half a block (pass the 5th structure). In between two houses there is a driveway to the shop. There should be a sign out front on the day of the tech session. The sign will be a kangroo crossing sign, Carl's icon.

From I-74 take exit 99 south. Go down about 2.5 miles. Look for the kangroo crossing sign.

Hope to see ya'll out there.

Starting around 10:00am.

As mentioned before, I would like to have my rear diff checked out. Will plan to have all the necessary parts there to hopefully fix it including a locker. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Remind me to bring my dial indicator from the house.

Josh,
You are more than welcome to attend the meeting. The more the merrier.

I'll get the word out to the people around here. As of the Interlake run Richard was planning on going up I'll see who else is interested.

Josh I'll try to put you in on the e- mail list for the southwestern group of us if you want to ride along.

Booty

hey Booty are you going up for the day or will you stay in a hotel room? I might be interested in throwing in on some gas money and split a ride. I absolutly hate driving the wifes car(loud orange chevy cobalt w/ big wheels)but it gets good gas mileage.

Will you haul your rig up?

give me a call if you want 812-483-6965 Josh

All, I'm going to bring a pot of Chili (chedder chez, sour cream, and some other toppings) and sodas.

Feel free to bring something.

FYI, the nearest store(s) are back around the 65 exit. Starbucks, McDee's, a Cafeteria, gas stations, Sam's club.

Sorry guys but I am not going to be able to make it this time, I tried to get a shift trade to no avail.

later,
Chad P.

Well, I'm hopeing to be there. Talked to Josh, he and Richard are planning on going.

We were told Friday at work that we are 350 trucks behind, pretty bad considering we have only been building the new truck for four days, so we are going to get our recovery plan on Monday. This plan may include working next Saturday. So I'll let you know what I find out Monday.

I also have a free registration to the Coal Miner Clasic I won at GSMTR last year. A person on my team has that Friday off so I will not beable to make it to that run this year. So I will bring it to (or mail it to) Indy, so some one that is going can use it.
Hope to see you Sat.

So...did I miss something in the thread? What time are we supposed to be at Carls? And I'm bringing the new toy!!:D

Opps,

Last year the tech session lasted most of the day, I anticipate that this year will be the same.

However the start is going to be around 10am.

I'm not able to trade away my shift either fellas. Unfortunately I won't be making it this year, but good luck with the projects and plan some good wheelin' trips.

Travis
