Tanaka string Trimmers

Anyone ever used one? I just picked one up after my cheapO homelite pooped out. A buddy works at the Co-Op and they carry them, and he got me a pretty good deal. Got a 7 year warranty, quality seems good and the balance feels very nice.

Depending on the model they are good units.

Do Not Break It!

Parts are a Pain in the Arse to get and seem to take forever. (Look at the that little bakolite looking piece between the carburetor adn the cylinder. If you unit rolls off a tailgate or falls over in the shop and land on the carburetor, it will cost around $70 for that little part and may take 6 - 8 weeks to get, if not longer.)

New Bump head is around $60 - $80
