I need to find 4 or 5 tires. Doesn't matter what brand as long as they hold air and are cheap. Prefer to stay 33" or less. Just let me know what you have got. I am also looking for 5 disc brake stock wheels with all hub cap clips.

Now Chad, there is no way anyone is gonna help ya' out here without more details........such as WTF do ya' need them for????

I bought a 2/80 fj40 last weekend. It needs a lot of work to just get it running. It had been sitting for a long time. The tires that are on it have dry rotted and one will not hold air over a couple of days. The electrical needs to be reworked and I am sure its got mechanical issues as well. My priority is to get the top on right, doors to lock, and tires to hold air, so that it can at least sit in the driveway without looking abandoned. Besides the tires, I am also looking for a fiberglass top and a fuel door with a lock. Any help is appreciated.

I will try to get some pics posted this weekend.

Would this be a camo truck by chance?

I have a set of 33 MT claws that you can have. They are in ok shape and do hold air. I had them on the minitruck at Roundup. I will have to pull them off the aluminum wheels that they are on right now...or we can make a deal on those as well if your interested.

If you are patient a complete HT can be found on mud for around $4-500. A replacement cap alone is often more expensive than a whole top. There is a place in the NE that makes a plastic replacement unit that is cool as stink but I think it is around $750ish. A soft top would be cheaper.

Chad, I've got a hard top for you disassembled for transporting, glass & rubber intact, struts hold air. It has the original red paint if that matters.

From a 72, don't know the subtle differences.

All the metal cab pieces are here at work, the fiberglass top is at the house but I can bring it here also.

Give me a call if you think it'll work...

72 hardtop won't work with an 80 40. door size is wrong for one.
Actually the top itself will fit fine, and the later front doors will seal, ya just need a tailgate or something to go in the lower rear instead of amby doors.

Thanks for the clarification Butch- looks like Chad & I need to do some horse trading. :D

I will stop by Monday Morning. Hopefully with seats. ;) My hardtop is actually in pretty decent shape. The fiberglass cap is what I am in desperate need of.

What is wrong with the cap that is on it? Poke a hole in it or something?

and i might be interested in the old one, if the front third is in decent shape.

That is the problem. There is a double window sunroof with one of the locking handles broken. Right now I have duct tape on it to keep it from leaking. There is also a small crack in one corner near the windshield. The back 2/3 are near perfect. It actually would not be bad if I could figure a way to secure the sunroof.
