Ok everyone getting ready to purchase a 2007 FJC and I was wondering in your own opinion what are the options I should be looking for. I also want to get a 6 inch suspension lift but am unsure of what brand to go with. I will be doing some mild off roading at the moment but eventually would like to take a road trip to Moab so I am going to need something that will handle the abuse. I also need a good wheel/tire combo ( wheels need to be black). I am looking at spending about 5-6K so anyways give me some input on what I should buy and about how much I am going to have to spend.

6'' Lift if you want too .. however my opinion is the OME lift will do alot if not more then most. i have the OME and 285's and can go pretty much anywhere i want, and i live where Dusy and the Rubicon are friends. I own a FJ40 and a FJC with the OME in both and they both are great rigs, get the OME and you will be happy. Center of gravity is worth more then words ... Some go bigger and claim its better. to each its own, i like staying low and going slow .. thats what i am about ...

I also agree that the 6inch life makes your COG too high. Depending on how much you want to spend on a lift I would either go with ICON or if you are up for spending a little more Total Chaos just came out with a long travel kit that doesnt require any fiberglass...it gives you 12 inches of travel which in my opinion unless you are planning to run in CORE is more than enough for anything you need. OME is a good low price lift, however if you do any desert running like I do you will blow out those shocks in nothing flat.
