If bad grammer hurts your fealings then please dont read

Hey guys any of ya remember me? Anyways i sorta got distracted with life then my fj62 dieing first motor someone stuck rocks in the valve cover. Second motor droped it off the fork lift thought only the oilpan got hurt but oilpump did to. Mayden voyage 60 miles from home oilpump took a s*** and started knocking. Bought a k5 blazer rust bucket stuck my 92 caprice copcar motor in it drove it couple months. It sucked nowhere near the room the fj had. And with my son being in a wheelchair it just sucked with more then him in the truck. So im back on the market for another cruiser. Got some questions bout the 91 and up modles. Does the fj82s have as much room in the back with the seat folded as a fj62? Can i lay down back there and go to bed? Wich is cheaper to lift if i remember corectly u can lift the 82 way cheaper then a 62 corect? How much better is the gasmilage on a fj82 over the 62

Hey, welcome back.

Does the fj82s have as much room in the back with the seat folded as a fj62? - No.

Can i lay down back there and go to bed? - Probably.

Wich is cheaper to lift if i remember corectly u can lift the 82 way cheaper then a 62 corect? - It's cheaper if all you're going to do is throw on coil springs. To do it right with possible caster correction costs about as much.

How much better is the gasmilage on a fj82 over the 62 - Not better. In fact, the '91 and '92 80-series has the same engine as your 62. the 93 through 97 is a better engine, but not more mpg.

i was thinking old man emu 2 and a half inch coils on a 80 wouldnt be that bad on the caster. And if i could stuff them 34 inch ltbs on my 62 with no lift at all. a set of 33s should fit on a 80 with 2 and a half inch li8ft right?. And to get more then the 160 or 190 hp my fj62 had im gonna have to buy a 93 and up. thats when they jumped to like 240 hp right?

How u been felix? It has been awhile. Ive regreted every day since i sold my cruiser man. Even tho the motor was bad. I should have stored it till i had the money to do a v8 swap on it and went spring over. I miss that dam truck took me lot of places and imbarres alot of jeeps and fords few chevys to in the mud.
