Summer Events ?

It's July and I was wondering if anyone else has given thought to our annual summer events--a BBQ cookout get together (usually hosted by @Grimeless at his place in Black Forest ) and the "show and shine" type event, Cruisin' for a Brewsin', last held in 2019 at Lost Friend Brewery (Academy & Montebello Square).

I recall back in the December timeframe (when we were doing tree-cutting support to USFS) that it was suggested to do a BBQ type event up on the Rampart Range Road so we could invite Pikes Peak Ranger District staff, etc. (Ranger Rick E. is likely retiring this year, September-ish).

I think some of our peeps are out of town for the Independence Day holiday, so I'll follow up on this next week.
