I installed the Ironman 2.5 inch lift wit struts in the front and coils & shocks in the back. It has a bit of a forward lean and I'm not fully clearing the new tires. on the front drivers side. I'm thinking about strut spacers.

What is the best way to measure exactly how much forward lean I have and how large of a spacer to get. While I live in NC I absolutely don't want anything resembling the "Carolina Squat"

A few questions:

1. Do you have the Foam Cell Pro of Nitro Gas Charger shocks? The Foam Cell Pros have a threaded body to allow for ride height adjustment.
2. Did you double-check that the front shocks went in on the right side? On at least the Foam Cell Pro kit they are set up different side-to-side to avoid the driver's side lean. Not sure about the Nitro Gas Charger kit. If you got them in backwards, it would be way to low on the driver's side.

To measure lean on my rig, I've taken a tape measure and gone of the highest point on each fenderwell. It should be within 1/4". That should help you determine how much rake you have and how different it is side-to-side. I have my rig set to 1" of rake (higher in the back). With the stock Foam Cell Pro kit, my rig was within 1/8" side-to-side. I am surprised yours is not level, my guess is the front struts are backwards or Ironman set them up wrong.

I'm fairly level side to side, it's the rake that might be improved. - Thanks I couldn't think of the correct word... rake

They're the nitro and the instructions didn't mention a side and the struts weren't labeled any different.

Gotcha - so you want to make it higher in the front. One other alternative could be to drop it in the back via the threaded coil spring conversion kit.

To answer your original question - I'd reach out to Ironman tech support. Maybe they'll be able to swap out your springs. If you do go with a spacer, be aware that because the strut goes into the middle of the LCA that it's not a 1:1 difference between coil/spacer lift and suspension lift. It's more like 2:1 (i.e., 1/2" spacer will give you 1" of lift). You can probably figure out the actual ratio using a tape measure and some basic geometry.
