I posted a plea for help in the 45 forum a couple weeks ago. I currently have the below message on both GA cruisers and Upstate cruisers forums...

I deploy about ONE month from now. I have a 1981 HJ47 and a 1967 FJ40. I could store these on Ft. Gordon, but they would be out in the weather. I'm moving my wife back to Alabama with our 1 month old and 2 year old. So, not really wanting to leave the trucks with her and her Sequoia and kids...

My question: Does someone or the club have an idea or lead on storage? I would feel very comfortable with people who LOVE LC's watching my trucks. I have NO problem with whoever is helping me out to drive my trucks around. If someone does good bodywork, I could pay them and they'd have all year to finish... Just ideas... Like I said in my 45 post, I've been doing this for over 10 years and I'm not looking for something for nothing or sympathy. This is not my first rodeo! ;) Someone let me know!

If someone is willing to help out in central AL, I can move them there when I move my wife to Montgomery here in a couple weeks.

I wish i could help you myself. I will see who i can find in the Montgomery area that has covered/inside storage. All us in Auburn do not have garages, I'm sure we would drive them once a week or so to keep them fresh and would even change fluids as needed. etc.
Last year when i was in the hospital for 6 months, WarEagleCruisers' drove and maintained Cattywampus. When i recovered, i had non-truck friends tell me they saw my rig around town with no less than 5 different drivers, I responded with a huge smile.

i'm even willing to let Auburn-types help me out ;) Thanks for keeping an eye out for me! ROLL TIDE!
