I just wanted to let you know that the first Saturday of each month the Mid-South Sport Shooting Association hosts a Steel Challenge match. I shot in July (my first time) and it was a blast. It is $12 and you shoot five stages with five runs on each stage. Your longest time on each stage is dropped and the rest of the times are added together to get a total time.
This is a great shooting sport and you don't need anything special. You need a quality holster and it helps to have 5 magazines. You will shoot between 200 - 300 rounds.
I will be there tomorrow - if anyone is interested in joining me this weekend, let me know.
