should be nice day to get Malcolm's "snow white" dusty...
I think i will bring a canoe to paddle around in.
see you there

OK, we'll eat breakfast before coming, but we have to make a pit stop at the Subway in Maple Ridge for a couple of sandwiches. Gary T says we can find you a challenging ride up the gravel pit, Marcin. We can do donuts on the mud flats too.

I missed you in the Echo, I was looking at the babe in the red Lamborgini convertable.
We had a super day; warm sunshine, mudpit mayhem, gravel pits, 4 cruisers, mountains, Alouette Lake lookout, and good company. Marcin got to try out his new Mickey Thompson Baja Claws, and Malcolm got to see what his FJ80 could do. Gary T has a bad U joint (no pun intended). All of us got bogged in the mud at least once. Marcin has some good pictures and so do I but mine are on film and will have to wait. Saw at least 20 burned out cars up there, the bad boys have been real active this year. They may be spoiling it for the rest of us by causing too much trouble up there.

thank you Bill! it was a grat day.
It took me 6 hours to clean the truck. I took the wheels off to clean the breaks, took the lights apart to flush the mud, and i flushed the frame as well. in the end it was still worth it!
I just wonder how long it took Malcolm to turn his truck back into a virgin looking princess...lol

I pressure washed the underside and gave the topside a good wash. Looks like new except for the bent front bumper where I snagged a deadhead in a mudpit. Too bad about those paintball idiots pumping paint at Malcolm's FJ80. I think he got all of it off anyway. The municipality will eventually close the road due to them and the car vandals that burn the stolen cars up there. They should be permanently removed from the Gene pool.

Here it is just over a week later and I think I have finally got all the mud off!! Two major power washes with me crawling underneath spraying (around $30), along drive through the rain to Portland Oregon this weekend, and a final runthrough the powerwash to get all the door jambs etc mud free...I think it looks ready to go to the mall again!!:D

Thanks for a great gang!
Malcolm

You should see the mud from Churn Creek/Blackdome Mountain! It sticks thick and seems like cement. Even pressure washing may not clean this Fraser R. clay stuff. I may have to pound it will a rubber mallet to dislodge it. I'll have to pull the wheels and beat on it until it breaks off in pieces. I took 75 pictures of the run and will put some on the website when I get the film back. Mat is thinking of putting his pictures on CD and we can put them on the Cuiser web site.
