I've had this squeak for about a year, it goes away in the winter when cold and comes back summer. I believe it's the front driver (Hydraulic) shock. Tech at the shop I go to has said once it needed replacing and more recently that it's fine (winter). Never really dug into that more but now Its warm out, I'd like to get it solved. 2001 LX470 w/ AHC.

In my experience the squeaky barn door noise is cause by ball joints and in some case just a worn shock.

Can you get someone to rock the truck back and forth while in park and you get under there to listen? Chances are you can put your hand on the part and feel some vibrations.

How did you go sorting this mate? Mine (‘04 LX w/ AHC) and it kind of rattles over bumps.

A rattle is a bit different from a squeak and could be a lot of other culprits . Can you recreate the noise when parked with a few fat friends shaking the rig ?

Can you try to narrow down front or rear ? Will have to just start somewhere , it'll be a guessing game here .
