Hey who here is from squamish ? Quick count :)

Heard a little story about one of the CCs from a friendly CO that I met in squamish. Realized there are few more details that I would love to hear from the actual coastal cruiser involved in the story :)

shoot me a private message if this is you

I'm up here

What's the story. and what's a CO

Indian Arm stuff? There's a lot of new roads going in, and disappearing just as fast...

Not a good place to go near these days

CO is a conservation officer. Backroads cop ;)

I wheel around squamish regularly (Elaho valley, etc). What's the gossip??????

One of the CCs was "spotted" where he ought not have been. Sounded to me like the CO's perhaps had a camera way out in the bush.. and later saw the CC driving around.

.. but this sounds too paranoid even for my thinking ..

So I am hoping to find out the story.

Maybe someone up in a closed area on black tusk or similar? It's fairly easy to get around the gates (not that I'd do something like that).

Starvation or Hut are good trips, will have to put something together

Might go up in three or four weeks, weather permitting

hey SquamSquatch if you ever wanna go wheelin' let me know or if you guys plan on going on any trips lemme know i just got my cruiser about 3 weeks ago and wanna learn more about wha they can do and have some fun with em also .

Hut looks like a cool trail...never been.
as far as i know the hut lake trail doesnt excist anymore. they built a big ugly radio tower up there a few years ago, and blocked the rest of the road off. usually you cant get past levette lake cause they built a gate just past it.

Hut access

All of this year the gate was left open. At the tower site there is a sabotaged road that can be navigated. Hut is a easy drive after that, but narrow (Lots of Scratching). Upper Hut is a challenge, with some huge V groves. I made it up, but some areas were narrow enough I rubbed up top (top of truck) upon exiting, and didn't notice til the next day.

There are 6-7 Lakes all together up that road from paradise valley.

There is one more lake past upper hut, but it gets very narrow!

oh i see... last time i was there the tower was just finished, and the road to hut lake had been freshly deactivated, but you could still walk in on foot to the lake. i didnt realize since then it had been made active again to 4x4's.
