On I-95 in Georgia headed north today. The 2 in front were 16+, the one on the back was a pre-'16 GX-R so I think it has the 4.6L V8. My guess is they got armored up in Florida and were headed to an embassy in DC. I was swerving all over the place trying to get these pics so I risked my life for these photos! :steer: This actually ranks as one of the coolest things Ive ever passed on the road.

From the pics, those tires read as General Grabber tires. Though the sidewall doesn't look like any tire I see available commercially?

@Ali M look at the window framming of the doors.

Cool find!

Those tires are the new General Grabber AT x.

How did you know they were armored?

In that pic of the rear, you can see what look like two thick bars going down vertically inside the cargo area. Thats a bank vault-like door with a little window. And then on the sides the window frames are super thick. Those windows don't go down.

I was wondering about that, after I left I was kicking myself that I didnt pay more attention to the type of tyres it had.

Got it. I see the thick frame around the windows. Thanks!

Nice catch.

The two on the front of the trailer look like 16-18 models and the one on the tail looks like a 08-11 model.
Does Toyota still use the 08-11 parts for different trim levels in non US markets? Or do you think they just armored up an older model?

Awesome pics, thanks for sharing. Now these are true zombie mobiles!

I wonder how much each of those bad boys weigh?

They might also be imported here temporarily to get work done in the United States at a armor upfitter, then reshipped back via container or RORO to Europe/South America/Russia, etc.

Badass
