How do you all find spot welds to drill out? Is there any easy way to find them? It will make my life a lot easier if I can find them instead of just cutting everything and hoping for the best. Forgive my ignorance, but I'm learning as I go (I did search extensively).

Look for the indentation, usually on the back side, you can find a few usually and measure for the rest, if it's been covered with bondo, good luck finding them. Put the tip of your cutting bit in the center and drill away.

I had some trouble finding a few in faded, or rusty paint. Hit it with a wire wheel or 3M strip disk, just real light kind of like sanding a guide coat. It makes finding the dimpled spot weld much easier.
