What do you guys think of the spoiler on the 80 series? I have one on mine and I don't know if I like the look. Also if i took it off will there be holes in the back or markings?

You'll have holes. Put the screws back in to plug them. Depending on how long it's been there...prolly since new, you'll prolly have marks there.
It's functional though, so if you do yank it, you'll get more dirt and water on the glass back there.

I really think it does help keep the rear window cleaner/drier at freeway speeds. But I think the truck looks better without it.
AND, I just removed mine and found water and mildly rusty nutserts. It's off for good, now. You will find three nutserts under each mount. They need to be covered with some kind of washer and either the original screw or a shorter version of it. There are a few suggestions in this forum, and also (I think) a frequently asked question covering the options there. I just found a concave "sealing washer" at Home Depot that is doing the trick nicely.
I'd take yours off for inspection anyway, but keep in mind there is a gasket under each mount that will tear upon the spoiler's removal (probably originally meant to keep water out and prevent the spoiler from flexing and damaging the car's finish) and may be difficult to replace/reattach.

Does anyone in the Dayton,Ohio area have this spoiler and are looking to part with it. The 94 I just got has the plastic mounts but for some reason no metal spoiler/air deflector.

I don't have one to part with, but I recall someone in a similar situation as yours making one out of some aluminum. It's basically just a flat piece of metal -- cut to the right shape and screw it to the posts.
