I am doing my knuckle rebuild and birfield repack right now and I have noticed something wierd. On my drivers side the spindle has a bearing in it, I guess it is a roller bushing, while the passenger side has nothing in it except the bronze. What is going on here? Am I missing something in my passenger side spindle or can I just reintsall like is?

Your driver side has been replaced with the updated spindle that has a roller bearing, then. The passenger side is the original style that came on your vehicle. Typically, driver's side has lube issues first as the axle is longer, moves more and more quickly wears out the inner axle seal that starts all the issues. So that fits, too.

PS - be sure you clean the PS bronze bushing - all those slots should be cleaned out. Then be sure you liberally grease this area with as much as you can pack into the bushing. Ditto the roller bearing on the DS, but wanted to make the point.
