Speedometer cable and gears (everything behind the dash gauge) are shot. Thinking of going back with OEM parts. BUT there maybe a better system that some of you know about. My tires are not original diameter and I have two sets one for street and one for winter/hunting and both of these are different dia. Any suggestions before I pluck down the cash for OEM.

My FJ60 has a V8 conversion and the tach is not accurate. Do I need to buy a new tach or can the old tach be re-calibrated? If a new one is recommended any suggest for a plain Jane model.

Two choices on correcting your factory tach for V8 use:
(a) You can buy our Potentiometer #33616 for $11.71, but then you have to pull your Tach out of the dash to install it (comes with pretty good instructions).
(b) You can buy one of Dakota Digital's Tach Interfaces for $79.95 plus 10 bucks worth of handling, then you don't have to pull out the Tach. Get their part number #SGI-8, call them at 605-332-6513
