As time goes on, more and more of the FJ40 parts have been discontinued or gone disco as they say. I was bummed when I found this to be the case for the spare tire carrier bumper. This little paint saver attaches to the tubular spare tire carrier on 1977 thru 1983 FJ40’s and prevents the ambulance door from potential damage. So, I ponied up for the cost of tooling and contracted to produce a limited supply. It should be available at Cruisers Corps soon but if you need it now, you can buy the part for $15 here -> http://goo.gl/kKfEib Due to tooling costs, this reproduction part attaches with a screw (not included) vs, the original part which had a rubber extrusion that went into the hole in the tire carrier. I would argue that the original design and method of attachment is the reason so many of these went missing. Cheers. G

I love the LOOK of this bumper. Roughly mimics my ARB Bull Bar front bumper.
Who knows who makes it, and could we modify it to the back of my 1975 FJ40?
