space saving methods

i know this list can probably go on forever, but lets hear some of your favorites. i stash my toolbox under the hood, fits snuggly next to my 22re. i've strapped spare driveshafts on top of my rock sliders, and i know people strap them to the frame rails etc.

where do you guys stash your spare parts? any hidden tool boxes or anything?

Be careful with getting too creative. If you head through Mexico there will almost certainly be military checkpoints and they will NOT be amused if you store stuff in door panels and the like!

Make them easily opened compartments with proper doors, etc..

The way they often check is by knocking along body panels. If it doesn't sound right I'll bet you'll be unpacking right there no matter how nice the doors or compartments are!! Personally, I wouldn't be too thrilled to unpack and repack my truck at a Mexican military checkpoint as there is NO privacy and everyone going your direction is going to see what you all have.
