Received a phone call today from Mark Hawley with Metaltech 4x4 in Newberg, Oregon.
Mark is flying in for the Crawl!!!
And he is sending a pallet loaded with goodies!
And Metaltech is providing a keg for Saturday night to go with your meal and to get our Singer of Songs, tshirt printing, Master of Ceremonies tanked for the raffle!

I'm registered & check is in the mail. How can a person NOT go to this event? Free beer, satellite TV w/ football, big party/bon fire . . . free beer. Off-Road wheeling as a diversion. Hey, I'm pushing my chips all in. Put yo' numbers together, cut the big hog, and let's pray for dry weather.

What's the guys name with the white 4-runner with the razorback on the sides? Gary? Can't remember and I was trying to get him the word about the Crawl. Don't know if he checks MUD but wanted to let him know it was going on in case he could make the trip. Someone give him a call if possible.

Some pictures from the weekend in Hot Springs.
I didn't take very many, and I was only there Friday and Saturday, so I hope that some more people can add theirs.

Sus and Summer and I had a good time. Thanks to the Cotton Land crew for a fine event, and to Superlift for a fine place to play. We were there for Saturday only and hooked up with Gary in his stock Taco and Ashley and Don in Don's WIP Jeep on some mild stuff. It was a good trip to feel out the 4Runner since I haven't had it on more than a gravel road since I bought it this summer. I'm happy with the rig, but those Tacoma whip antennas break like dry spaghetti. Sus got some wheel time, too, and had a blast.
Here's a few pics for y'all's optical amusement.

Gary's guard dogs were along for the ride as usual. I know they seem like mild and gentle little fluffballs, but at one of our stops a saquatch attacked us from out of the thick brush. Before any of us could even react to the real and horrible danger of the situation, the Papillons flew into action and shredded the beast. As we examined the bloody remains, I found 'squatch's camera and looked at the pics. This was the last thing he saw:

Contact KORE Offroad in OK. I had them modify their original DIY beadlock design to this design and have had several sets made. PM me for more details.
