Hi all,
I’m planning to install the glass Emuwings (link below for reference). It does state in their website “. “The glass panels are supplied without tint, this will need to be matched to your existing tint prior to installation”

My understanding is that it’ll be almost impossible for me to match the factory “mirror” tint (is that correct?)

If I can’t match the factory tint, I think the next best option might be to replace the rear door glass with non-tinted versions. However, I’m really struggling to find this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I’m also open to other, more creative ideas if you have any.

P.S. if I’m able to find the non-tinted windows I’ll have some OEM windows from ‘99 LC up for sale soon ;)

Thanks all!

I would find a good tint shop in your area and they can use their expertise to match an aftermarket tint to your factory tint. There's a tint shop near me that matched my factory tint, and I am amazed at how good of a job they did with matching.

Your best bet would be finding a wrecked but glass still good non-US market 100 or 105 in US or Canada which is a tall order. The other option would be doing the same but in a market where they were sold. This would be easier to find the parts but shipping would be astronomical.

What @excessive said or wrap it black

Are you doing EMU wings on both sides? I'd consider wrapping them or doing a darker tint on them, even if it doesn't match. I think your plan to have them all match perfectly may take you down a very expensive rabbit hole! Or do the solid EMU wing instead of the glass?

That clear glass emu wing looks really good, and functional too! Been contemplating to get this for quite sometime now, just not sure yet if I’m ready to trade that for the motorized slip window opening function of my 100.
