I am considering re-skinning parts of my enclosed trailer. Mainly the rear doors and the very front, both places where the PO was particularly abusive. Anyone have any thoughts on sourcing the sheet goods to replace these panels? I did google several topics but did not find anything.
Your best bet if you live near a sizable city (about 250,000) is to look for "Steel Distributors". If you don't see any ads for aluminum , then just call one or two of the larger steel suppliers and they will give you a local contact for retail aluminum sales. Most small cities have a local warehouse for this stuff. Spokane has quite a few steel suppliers, and just one aluminum supplier.
This way you don't pay shipping and you can have the stuff cut to exact size, if that is diffcult for you to do. Most people don't have a 20 foot sheet metal shear in their garage....
