Just got the new issue of 4 Wheel Drive Toyota Owner mag and there is an article on SoCal 80's and SoCal TLCA's adopt a trail run. A big picture and description of Brent and his ride. I believe TUFFTORQ is featured too.

Congrats to all who made it happen and got out for the innaugural run and thanks for doing us all proud and helping right some of the wrongs.

Although not specifically mentioned, that's Otis (Chris) in his brown FJ40 right behind Brent. Maybe we could all meet at the next So. Cal. Land Cruiser club meeting for a magazine autograph session? HAHA;)

I was looking for Chris' rig but I didn't look in the backround. Props to him as well.

Just got home this afternoon from a weekend scout outing up to Snow Valley. Sniffed :crybaby: a little when I couldn't turn left into Crab Flats. Kids had a great time skiing.

To my delight the magazine was sitting on the bar waiting for me. Read the whole thing cover to cover. Big Thanks to Dave Zartman and crew for publishing the adopt-a-trail program, our trip and the pics!

That is indeed Chris Geiger (Otis) behind me in the brown FJ40.

That's my son Eric listening to Greg Hoffman on the second page of the article, right in front of the stone chimney!

Greg was fascinating to listen to all day. I had the pleasure of being lead truck since I had a working odometer! As we were making a list of all the work Greg could see on the tour I had him in my truck. Thanks to all the older FJ 40's on the trip w/o working odometers!

When spring arrives, we'll absolutely have to make a weekend clean up trip for 3N08!

Thanks to YOU ALL for doing it! Hopefully more groups will follow your lead!

Dave

Big thanks for the pic of my son! He's actually listening to an adult in that picture. Wish he'd do that in school too!
