Hello Colorado Cruiser & other Toyota owners,

I am hoping someone can take a look at a FJ40 for me as I am in California and unable to make it out there myself due to work, a new baby, and remodeling a house.

It is at Worldwide Vintage Autos in Denver and its a green 1972 FJ40. I realize it's not perfect, but from the pictures, it looks pretty good to me.

If anyone is able to help, I could send some money for time/gas via paypal or something else.

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon - you might also post this to the Rising Sun club. They're out of Denver, we're about an hour south.
Good luck

Thanks Eric,

I'll try that.

Jon,
Never mind... I thought it was the one with the PTO wench. I have not been to look at the other green one. I have looked a few there and they never looked like the pics (but i am picky as hell). For example, on the PTO one... the whole engine compartment was rattle canned and they did not disclose a bunch of rust. That's probably why that one has been there for EVER. That said, they do have some nice cruisers, but I don't think they are any better than whats on Craigs List. You may want to check the Red Line Cruisers website. There is Green one for sale there and the seller is motivated. Plus the Red line guys are great! That Cruiser is in California... not Colorado so that may help. Good Luck. Just keep your shopping out of New Mexico.. That's MINE!!! ;)

Thanks Okiewon,

I sent a message to Justin at Redline, he might be able to check that one out for me. I'm looking for a July 72 in particular as that is when I was born and my daughter was just born in July, but on the 5th. It would be nice to have a mostly stock cruiser for her one day...yeah right.

If you happen to swing by again, let me know. I've emailed them (worldwide) and asked them if its okay that I have a mechanic or someone come by and take a look at it. I'm waiting on their response.

As for staying out of New Mexico...if that's where a July 72 resides, I make no promises :)

Nice, Justin and folks at red line are good people. I'm looking for an fj80, but I happen across a nice 72, I will let you know. Happy hunting!
