Some FJ40 ande FJ80 parts

I am moving out to So-Cal, and need to get rid of some collected randomness.

1 complete hard top. disassembled, early doors and lift gate. All glass good. Make a good offer.

1 1973 FJ40. Very rough needs new tub. 2F with FJ60 Electronic Ignition. Older Bestop Tiger Top. 3 Speed transmission, drums. $500 firm. Will need a trailer, and battery. Would make a great beater trail rig. Needs too much cosmetics to restore IMHO.

1 2F valve cover. Wrinkle finish black coated. $25

1 Pair "restored" warn hubs. $20

1 set of 3FE injectors. $5 ea

FREE STUFF:

A couple carbs for F/2F engines

a 2F valve cover

1 early FJ80 front bumper

3FE intake (upper and lower)

1 Dana 61 (Not Dana 60) rear axle. Has drum rebuild kit.

FJ60 rear brakes and drums, unknown condition.

1 3 speed FJ40 bellhousing.

1 transmission spacer, I forget which transmission it's for though. It goes between the trans and t-case.





I leave the area the 1st week of September, so i need this stuff gone before then. The FJ40 is being posted for a friend, with a PM I can provide the contact info for him.

I'd be interested in just the fiberglass top panel. You probably want to get rid of it whole, but if it gets closer to your move, or you find someone that wants the sides for some reason, let me know.

Also possibly interested in the lift gate. You have pics?

Yeah, Dan, I'm planning on patching the hole if I can't find a replacement. I have a buddy who's repaired kayaks to help me. I just figured that it would be easier to buy the whole piece.

Okay, I'm done with my hijack. Back to finding good homes for green's parts.

Well, Felix, I wouldn't spend a bundle on the repair. I keep seeing the occasional fiberglass cap on sale/give away here. Be careful on the repair supplies - you don't want 200 lbs. of extra weight of resin over your head. Makes for very tippy situations. I speak from experience.

If Steve, will ship, I think if the horn is separated from the carb base, they might fit inside of the post office's shoebox size box that permits $8 shipping regardless of the weight. Forget the specific program it comes under...

I might have a good hard top cap, I'll look in my storage bin when i get home. Depending on how it's broken, you might just fix it. Post up a pic. If it's a crack, you can fix it w/0 much effort. If it's an eggshell fracture, might be better to graft in a repair panel or just get a new one.

Is your Kayak repair friend Dave Brown? He's known as the expert boat fixer in the area and is an amazing craftsman.

There is also a swapmeet here in the middle of Aug. I'd love to see the body tub I sold you on your truck. How did that primer I put on there hold up? Always looking for long term feedback on stuff like that. I expect to be here until mid August or the end of the month at the latest.

The tub went on quite easily. The primer has held up quite well. I didn't use paint over it though. I sprayed on the Duplicolor Bed Liner stuff. In a 3/4 barrel roll at Crozet I got a couple dents in the tub, but nothing serious. The primer and bedliner barely even scratched. I am quite surprised how this is adhearing to the aluminum.




As for shipping some of this stuff. YES, if I can fit it in a small package, of course a cost to the receiver.
