Hi Guys - I'm taking the family down Metberry Gulch today. Not expecting any problems of course, but if I haven't posted back on this by tomorrow morning, I'd appreciate if somebody could try to call (********) or have a look. I've told other folks I'm going there - but they have no idea where it is or could get there! I'll be on CB Ch 4
Thanks
Eric

Hi All - I'm back! Had a great run and alot of fun in the river. The one obstacle at the creak crossing must have gotten alot of sand & gravel washed into it - piece of cake now. Out of curiosity we went out the N. end of Cedar Mountain Rd to West Creak on HWY 67. It comes out to the same distance from the Western as going in the S. end via Divide - within 1/10 of a mile!

Forgot the camera. I heard about the fire near deckers, but couldn't see or smell anything from where we were.

When was the fire? I was there about three weeks ago and nothing looked freshly burned. Hey Eric, how did you fare on that off canter right hander near the power line support tower? When I was there, a jeep was parked at that turn making it impossible for me to get the right angle to get around.

It seemed to me that the outside of that turn was lower (ie., not as off-camber) as it was in the club run a few months back. Wasn't nearly as concerned by it this time ... or maybe it's just experience.
