4 hours to go. Coming up 69 now.

Hey I am just going to put this out here for any of you heading west from SAS after it’s over.

Shauno of the YouTube channel 4wd24/7 (Aussies) are here in the USA doing a big trip and filming it for their channel. He shipped his 60-series Ute chop over here and has been running a bunch of trails.

Anyways he posted on his social media today that he will be in Moab for a meet & greet on Saturday the 5th. I do believe he offered a round of beers for those who show up.

It would be cool if he gets mobbed by Land Cruisers! He is an absolute die hard Cruiserhead! Better than getting mobbed by jeepers anyways! 😂🤙

Cheers

Good morning SAS, please be gracious with us setting up registration. We will have it up ASAP. Coffee will be brewing shortly.
Rocket City Cruisers Know your Cruiser and trail orientation will be at 10am MST.

@rlocke49 @Broski

I’ll let y’all do the cone washer transaction. I spent all my time at Classic Cruisers with my truck on the lift dissecting my rear brakes and left the cone washer 🤦‍♂️

I was supposed to get a front sway bar for myself and forgot that too if that says anything about my state of mind. Needed welding gloves to remove my drums because they were so hot.

All good Jim! I appreciate the offer none the less. Sorry you’re having brake trouble!

I'm the same, I'll have hp tuners and the chip. I have an 8l90 and some miniscule info on how to get that stuff working lol. You can go around monarch pass if you need to.

1 million thanks go out to @DangerNoodle for making time to use that computer voodoo and get us tap to shift.

Flight was delayed an hour. I'm still on track hanging out in Denver enjoying a breakfast bloody mary

Just FYI, you know you are a cruiser nut (@cruisermatt) when you bring a mint h55f to spoon with on cold nights.

Anybody in camp a drum brake expert? Rebuilt mine last week and they are over adjusting themselves. Sitting here with one side torn apart and scratching my head.

I understand the hand brake is supposed to adjust the slop out of the brakes via the ratcheting star wheel. It’s only supposed to adjust them so far, but it’s adjusting mine beyond that. I can manually back them off via the star wheel and have good brakes as long as I don’t touch the hand brake - but I’ll need the hand brake on trails. As of now I can’t use it or else the brakes start dragging.

If anybody knows this stuff well and has nothing better to do … feel free to come take a look.
