I swear, Colorado hates my brakes. Left rear is dragging... like it did last year. At the time I put a new wheel cylinder on it in camp and relubed and readjusted everything. Went through the rear brakes a couple weeks ago again, and it's acting up again. Overadjusting I assume, maybe I need to get medieval with the adjuster arm to limit its ability... I cannot recommend enough making the rounds with the IR thermometer while filling up at every gas stop..T case, trans, hubs, brakes, rearend, etc. Can't complain to much though, with the heat in the midwest I will admit to being a bit nervous - but the A/C has been working great, and cooling system has been keeping up fine.
Oh and SAS2 (or was it 3?) When my booster decided to leave the chat at the top of black bear in the 62....and SAS4 when the tubing I had used from the vacuum pump to the booster didn't quite live up to it's specs and sucked itself shut on black bear on the 40.... what is it with me, Colorado and brakes...?

Camping in the Flaming River Gorge in Northern Utah tonight with @NookShneer and @gt7058a.
Some light storming and lighting, but nothing too crazy!
See you all tomorrow!

I went through Tonapha bringing the 80 from Sacramento to Atlanta. Interesting town.
Tonopah can't hold a candle to Indian Springs further east on US 95, at least according to one of the senior government officials I used to work with. During a one-on-one tour of my facility she asked me where I lived. When I answered Indian Springs she replied "Now that's an interesting little community!"

One of the only redeeming features of Indian Springs is the fact that it's the home of the USAF Thunderbirds. Our mobile home was about 1/4 mile south of the midpoint of the main east-west runway at Creech Air Force Base. When the Thunderbirds were practicing for their airshows the fighter jets that crossed at low altitude perpendicular to the runway flew right over the house, trailing smoke and making a hell of a noise. I was lucky enough to get some good videos on my iPhone a few years ago showing all the action. Here's a screenshot from one of those videos (BTW, that's my front door):

This may be a stretch, but does anyone happen to have a spare cone washer for Aisin hubs they’d be willing to bring out? I’m one short and happy to trade some $ or beer for one. it’s bothering my ocd more than anything.
I've got some here at the house on Barranca Mesa, have you left for Colorado yet?

Lunch in Tuba City… will be in Ouray this evening.

Running a little behind… I locked my keys in the car during a bathroom break in Flagstaff.

Can recommend Northern Arizona Locksmith in Flagstaff… friendly 4Runner driving guy.
