SoCal Land Cruiser Club Meeting this Saturday

March 7th, 5PM SATURDAY afternoon.

Location: Fantastic Cafe located at: 5062 Westminster Blvd., Westminster

The Wheeling and Camping season is always good; Come to the meeting and let's discuss where to go!

Bring your Cruiser and kick some tires!

Lets talk about upcoming runs and plan new camping trips. If there is a place you want to camp or a trail you want to go on, bring it up at the meeting; more ideas the better!

Directions:

405 South: Take Bolsa Chica Road South to Westminster Blvd., Turn Left and the restaurant is immediately on your right.

405 North: Exit Westminster Blvd West. The restaurant will be on your left just before Bolsa Chica Road.

22 Freeway: Exit Valley View/Bolsa Chica Road. Turn left at the end of the exit onto Bolsa Chica. Turn left onto Westminster Blvd and the restaurant is immediately on your right.

Thanks Jerry. Going to try and make it tomorrow for the meeting. Haven't been to one in a while, would be good to catch up with the group.

I think it's time to do a meet and great out east in the IE. Westminister is about a 2 hour drive for us mountain folk.

BH3D,

Not a bad idea! Lets see who's out there. Maybe we can get people to chime in. Where is a good meet & greet location?

I'm up near Big Bear which is not centrally located to the IE. Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga/Fontana are rather centered in the IE. We could meet at one of the restaurant in the Victoria Gardens. There is a pile of restaurants over there. Here's the list: (Lucilles and Richie's are my Top picks)

BRIO Tuscan Grille
California Pizza Kitchen
Cheesecake Factory, The
Chipotle Mexican Grill
Corner Bakery Cafe
Crepes de Paris
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
Johnny Rockets
Kabuki Japanese Restaurant
King's Fish House
Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que
Luna Modern Mexican Kitchen
P.F. Chang's China Bistro
Paul Martin's American Grill
Richie's Real American Diner
Shakey's Pizza
T.G.I. Friday's
Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill
Yard House

What is your name? I need get together with our club president and include him in our conversation. I agree with you that a large section of SoCal may be under served. We are not Jeeps with a club on every corner! A lot of our current members do live in IE and SB.

By the way are you aware of the Southern California Desert Rendezvous taking place on March 20-22 near Anza Borrego? Click on the link for more info: Go to the American Adventurist forum to RSVP
That might be a good place to get started and figure out a good first IE meeting location.

Please send me your email address and I'll send over the Club newsletter.

Thanks,

Jerry

I have been wanting to attend in the OC, but would be up for an Ontario, Rancho meet... as well.
Unfortunately I seem to be working 24/7...now days..

A good location should have good parking where we can all park in the same area to kick tires and a restaurant that is not too noisy or has a back room for meetings. A Sonic Burger is a natural for a car club meeting place as a suggestion.
