Just wanted to show off my soa on the m101 from last night! F***ing awesome!

Went down pretty good to considering the rusty spring packs, took about 2 hours with a few good friends and a 12 pack of beer!

Cheers!

so you gonna paint it to match the cruiser and swap out the hubs and use matching wheels??

need bigger tires.

Nope nothing unexpected, expect maybe the brake cable, which we just fab up a new bracket and bottle it in the stock location to compensate for the gain in height.

Other then that real easy mod, would have been allot harder without the over head crane, we just flipped the trailer on its back for easier access to undercarriage, oh ya and everything was done one handed! Dam beer.

As far as the hubs and matching wheels I'll probably stay that way for now, I might paint the wheels white as the cruiser wheels and the rest of the trailer black, although I kind of like the green army paint even if it doesn’t match! But who cares, a dead deer want notice the difference.

Cheers!

Nice, I have 2 similar trailers but with the round fenders. The one that is a bit beat up I plan on restoring and going SOA with it so I don't have to run a drop hitch. I also have the pintle hook gear for it too. You just gave me a kick in the arse to get it going

I kept the original shock, since the shocks plat goes over the axle on soa the length stays stock, I think... well it worked for me.

I was asking to see if he broke anything while removing and if after flipping everything went back in - ( even if in a diff place) - some people also think it is a good idea to always use new bolts ( I have not found this entirely true yet)

[hijack] I just did my 101- I flipped the axle( side to side and upside down) so the flat bracket hit the bottom of the springs - then flipped and swapped sides on the shock mount so I could use it - everything worked - ( brake cable tight though)

I have photos and will post a thread on it in a day or two [hijack/off]

Sounds like how I did mine way back when. Nothing replaced, just shifted around. Took a couple of hours tops. Everything fit fine.
