So I Finally Pulled the Trigger

So I finally pulled the trigger on a new (to me at least) LX 570.

Here are the details:

2011 w/ 30K miles
Luxury package
Mark Levinson Sound System
Rear Entertainment
Remote Start

First up on the list are some new tires. While I dont plan to wheel this thing hard (that is what my 97 LX 450 is for), I do need some decent tires to go hunting. I am going to order some BFG AT's in 285/55/20.

Next I want to get an ARB bumper, I know it is not advertised as fitting, but it does fit. I'll throw a warn M12000 in it.

I will also need dual batteries. I have this in my 80 and LOVE it. knowing that I can just jump start myself is a great feature.

I will keep you guys updated as the build goes on.

I paid about 56 1/2K for it. So far I am loving it. I am coming from an Audi RS4 so it is quite different.

I don't know how old you are but these things are built to last over 25 years so this might be the last vehicle you will ever need to buy

The value of these 200s has fallen significantly in the past several months. Makes them a good buy. I purchased my truck in December for about $10k less than what it was selling for just a couple of months prior. The dealers with used LXs in stock were complaining that they are upside down.

Limited production vehicle, not many buyers at that price point. Still one of the very best vehicles ever built. If my neighborhood is typical, people who could afford new LXs are not buying them - because their LX470s are so good! They tell me that there is no point in getting a newer one.
