Nope, automatic..

roll the throttle and go..

if it really can handle 210lbs, they couldn't be that cheaply made.

I am sure they are cheaply made, but when the kids are done with them, I'll use it as a pitt bike for the racecar. And, I'll find a jump and youtube it ;)

I'd just head down to the local radio shack and pick a couple up instead of dealing with the hassle of shipping them.

my friends and i have the pocket bikes. had them for a couple of years and they still work good. we even managed to double 2 on it (yes there was bear involved) and were almost 200 pound each. it left the cop speechless when he pulled us over. i think he thought he was pulling over a couple of kids.lol

Mace, I'd hold out and look on CL for a CR50, RM50, etc. You can find them very cheap used, and the quality will be exponentially better than any of that Chinese crap.

Even used those old 50's are still going for over $500 around here for a crappy one.

And honestly, the kids are only gonna ride these things for a short period of time. Does the longevity really need to be there?

You will sell a CR 50, or similar for the exact same amount you buy it for, everyone is always looking for one for the kids then sell it too the next in line, We have little quads here that are on the 10+ plus owner.....

They can't be much worse than the old kit jobs back in the 70's. First bike I ever had was from one of those home kits that some guy built for his kid then sold to my dad for $10 at a garage sale :D

Well a local dude sells them like hotcakes.....they must be ok. The biggest complaint was do not jump or romp to hard.....but you are a welder soooooo hell I would.

yeah, but there is a considerably different inital outlay of cost.

~1500 to 2K for a couple of used CR50's instead of $300 for 2 chineese ones..

there is a dude selling one in town for $50. He jumped it and broke the frame. I am gonna look at it and see how hard it would be to fix..

Can't be that bad..

there are apparently hierachies of quality among these things. i have heard you ideally want a lifan motor.

Mace, PM me if you`d be interested in a nice '04 CRF-50 .

Thanks Semlin,
Sin, you have PM
