Gabe I would consider taking those chains back and getting a larger size, you can add a link or two but I still think you need another cross rung on the ladder because that gap is pretty big. Just saying....

I'm really considering selling them on Craigslist, and upgrading to the quick connect chains.

Ladder chains suck.

I'd make that store "make it right" . I know chains they wont return, but seriously that was not right.

I have to agree, you can not use those chains as they came out of the package, they have to take them back. If they give you grief have them install them in the parking lot to show you how easy it is to install them!
