What have you done with air filters and hoses and what not. What did you use with a V-8? Lets see some pictures please. Any FJ40 or 45 V-8 with snorkels?

I have to give credit to Redline, the 45 they just sold had a ramjet v8 with a snorkel. I'm sure that those pics are still around or available from them. It was a good clean looking set up. I intend to call them soon about it.

Right on. Thank you. I think this is the pic you are talking about.
I'm wondering how well it breathes. K&N says they recommend those filters for a smaller engine. I'll need to ask Redline and find out.

If you could get Redline to sell you the K&N filter housing bracket, intake elbows, intake mid pipe and dual battery tray, you should be good to go.

I wonder if Redline is using that size? Wolf Creek is doing a similar setup to my rig. When I asked Don if he thought it would provide enough air for the V8, he said they've done several setups on V8 motors (mostly Ram Jet's) with zero issues.

nothing fancy just ducted through the firewall and picks up the air from in the cab (RHD truck so no pedals and steering in the way on that side of the truck)
