I have to give credit to Redline, the 45 they just sold had a ramjet v8 with a snorkel. I'm sure that those pics are still around or available from them. It was a good clean looking set up. I intend to call them soon about it.

Right on. Thank you. I think this is the pic you are talking about.
I'm wondering how well it breathes. K&N says they recommend those filters for a smaller engine. I'll need to ask Redline and find out.

If you could get Redline to sell you the K&N filter housing bracket, intake elbows, intake mid pipe and dual battery tray, you should be good to go.

There's a 70mm K&N Apollo filter kit on ebay for $99 bucks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/370962348315?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I wonder if Redline is using that size? Wolf Creek is doing a similar setup to my rig. When I asked Don if he thought it would provide enough air for the V8, he said they've done several setups on V8 motors (mostly Ram Jet's) with zero issues.

Looking forward to your thoughts when you get yours plumbed up.

Thanks for the info and that link. I might try and make my own air box. If I can ever get around to it..
