POCATELLO, ID (November 3) -- The BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) is happy to announce that, from November 10th to December 10th, Slednecks will be running a special promotion to support BRC's efforts to preserve recreational access. With each item purchased on their website (www.slednecks.com) with the special code SNBRC1, Slednecks will donate 25% of the proceeds from that item to BRC!

Slednecks has been a past supporter of the BlueRibbon Coalition, most notably with their recent online auction of a custom painted snowmobile helmet (www.sharetrails.org/releases/media/?story=586). "I think we've all been supporters of your cause since we knew we wanted to go riding," said Justin Scullen, Slednecks Business Manager. "That would take us back to our first memories as lil' tykes...We're stoked to help the BRC [accomplish its mission] any way we can."

The Slednecks website has a number of fine products to choose from, including winter sportswear, t-shirts, hoodies, hats, jackets, beanies and much more. And best of all, your purchase will help BRC to do its job protecting your recreational access.

Who and what is Slednecks? Their website explains it best: "Slednecks made its huck into the world of snowmobiling with the launch of the first Slednecks movie in 1998. It all started with a group of friends around Jackson, Wyoming that decided to start filming the sick lines and huge air they were getting on their snowmobiles. Some of the OGs like Dan Adams, Cameron Elliot, and Shad Free, along with Producer and founder of Slednecks, Jason Moriarty, decided that they needed to capture how they were pushing the sport to the next level."

"We just released our 11th film," said Scullen, "and we've also since released a line of really cool clothing and technical outerwear to keep you protected against the elements. Check out our website for the full on visual perspective."

Slednecks began the Save Our Sport (SOS) program a few years back in order to do everything they could to save the sport of snowmobiling from the threat of closures and loss of access. Partnering with the BlueRibbon Coalition was a natural outgrowth of this program. "Let's be real here," Scullen told us. "Tourism, recreation, and our nations economy depend on the use of our public lands. The [anti-access crowd] doesn't seem to understand that. Someone has to put up the fight."

So if you are a snowmobiler, or if you just want some cool winter gear or clothing and want to support BRC, visit www.slednecks.com and click on the "Online Store." And remember to use the code "SNBRC1" when you make your purchase. With your help, we can make a difference.
