Have been surfing this site --- lots of great info. Thx!

So, yesterday, put in an order for a Black FJ (loaded up) and cannot wait to get it!!! :) Will be paying sticker, but that's to be expected. The guys at Menlove Bountiful were great (Chris/Josh). Was able to check out a Blue, Silver and Black in person (staff owned). Was thinking possibly Silver, but when I saw in person it seemed too muted for my tastes. Black really stood out.

In the lead up, I called around the various dealers in UT --- quite a range of responses. Some asking $1-2K upfront to order. And Karl Malone is tagging on a $5k+ premium above sticker. Goes to show it pays to shop a little.

Congrats! Got mine at Mark Miller. $500 down, paid MSRP. Glad you had a good experience.

That does not surprise me about Karl Malone, but it was only about 6 weeks ago that Menlove had a $3k markup. I have bought a lot of vehicles and I've never had a good experience at Menlove, or Karl Malone. And especially LHM. After all, we know this guy! ALWAYS high pressure vultures, ALWAYS.

congrats!..I didn't have to put a down on mine, I was lucky enough soon as I got to my dealership there was one there that just came off the truck, so It was meant to be..

A local dealer here told me they sold an FJ within 1/2 hour of arrival with a $3k dealer markup. Be thankful for MSRP. I have read that some people have bought FJs well under MSRP, but I don't know how. Edmunds.com is kind of cool - you submit what you want and dealers in your area submit inventory info to you; or they are supposed to ....

bought mine at brent brown in provo no markup but paid sticker $26,900.00

yeah, kind of a mixed bag of how the dealers are pricing / selling the FJ here in UT. def the leverage is all on their side, but still, to ask for $3-$5k above sticker like some are doing ... and get it! yikes, to me that's nuts --- sucker born every minute kind of thing. MSRP or bust.

gotta say though i'm in a daze, counting down the days! already got friends and coworkers chattering ....... "hmmmmm maybe my next car will be an FJ"

sweet...don't forget the required pic posting once you get it in hand :D

I am getting mine for under MSRP, only $300 to $500 over the factory invoice.
Many dealers who have Internet sales do this, and offer dealers offer discounts to certain companies such as Boeing.

nice pics up there in AF Canyon! funny, but i was skiing just on the other side (at the Bird) until Memorial Day --- gotta love that! slush skiing at its best.

yeah, we should all plan a UT-based FJ get together ... mine is still being assembled / on order. would be fun to drive a line down I-15 --- what a sight (and marketing, er, vehicle for Toyota) that would be!

counting down the days.

lets do it af canyon would be cool name the day.

Love to see how your lift and lager tires do in the Rock Garden. It was a lot longer and harder after Snowbird put it back together again last year. First time I missed my TJ. I was really used to just driving over the dern things, now back to finessing like the old days.
