Who is going and when, Lets make this the official LSLC thread for the 2007 trip.

I am leaving on 8/04 returning 8/12. Currently no specific agenda, or campground, or specific plan. That is how a vacation is supposed to work right?

Im also going the 4th-12th going with 4 other Rigs we will be camping on the trail....

Our klan (Em, me, brother, sis-in-law and they're kids, and Mom and Pops) is leaving out the 4th and coming back the 12th.

i'm out. i will be doing an out and back to leadville 10, 11 12. but i will not be in silverton for the trip. maybe we will be able to swing down through there,and ruin your week.

I am leaving on 8/04 returning 8/12. Currently no specific agenda, or campground, or specific plan. That is how a vacation is supposed to work right?

Gentlemen, I will be in the same area as y'all starting 8/3 and coming back 8/12. Hope to run into y'all. I will always be looking to tag along on some trails, as I prefer to not do so alone with just my boy and I. We home base wherever and then take the cruiser up on the trails. No reservations or plans.... It's how we do it anyways.

I also plan on going to The Rising Sun Club Rally. That is on the 11th in Lakewood, CO.

Here is a link to it. From what I read, there was over 100 rigs there last year.

Because I have to pick up my brother and niece in Tulsa I am going to be leaving Tulsa on the 5th (Sun) driving to and overnighting in Canon City that night. Royal Gorge touristing with the munchkin and then over to Lake City to camp on the 6th.

IIRC, the TTR/LSLC group leaving DFW on Saturday is overnighting in Tucumcari, NM on the 4th. Silverton on the 5th. Then coming North out of Silverton on the Alpine loop (Cinammon Pass) to Lake City and then west to Ouray via Engineer Pass. Since they plan to poke along all the ghost towns and side trials, camping along the way I plan to intercept them, with a little luck, between Lake City and Silverton on the 7th. Likely come off the Alpine Loop on Weds and then head north out of Ouray.
After Ouray the group plans to overnight at Ridgeway State Park, north of Ouray and run Ophir, Imogene and Black bear. Coming out on the 10th or 11th I am going to lead anyone that wants to tag along on the Stony pass route overland from just north of Silverton to Creede and then ??? I thought about the RS Rally or who knows. I might whoa up another day at the Rio Grande Reservoir before heading back to Tulsa.

Chris, appreciate the response. I will be around the same places the times you posted, so will be on the look out for y'all. Have a great trip and hopefully see you on a trail.
